Costs Overview

This is a general overview of our current income and expenses so far for 2011 (last update 8 November 2011).

Income

All of our income comes from public donations, except for a small amount of paperback book sales (which are sold at cost).

Expenses

None of our directors, members, or volunteers receive any payments, and nor does Belzebuub. All work for free, and all donations go solely towards the expenses of running the organization and in providing the services it offers. Even free eBooks require ISBN numbers to produce and registration fees; software is needed for the book keeping which is done by by our volunteer directors; organization’s pay standard fees and require insurance; equipment is needed to capture the free audio, video, and photo of Belzebuub; the websites need hosting which is paid every month and so on.

Administration (govt fees, admin costs, accountancy fees, legal fees, etc.): $23,758.64

Direct book production and management costs (book ISBNs, copyright registrations, printed book storage, design, etc.): $2,817.95

General operations (postage, supplies, bank fees, equipment, software, etc.): $1,760.90

Web (hosting, domains, stock images, software, etc.): $4,087.12

*which means so far this year we are running a budget deficit :-)

Monthly Costs

We estimate that our baseline monthly running costs are approximately $1,600.
